MedAxiom began in 1994 when a core group of cardiology-practice administrators and physicians from across the United States joined together to seek better solutions to the challenges they were all facing.
Accelerating The Evolutionary Process
MedAxiom was formed from a desire to improve patient care and accelerate the evolutionary process of the health-care industry. Faced with numerous challenges, such as a shortage of cardiologists, an increase in cardiology patients, decreasing reimbursement and increasing regulations, the job of a cardiology-practice administrator has become increasingly difficult.
Jennifer Linville, the founder of MedAxiom, believed that an organized network of administrators could successfully change the industry and its individual practices by banding together to solve problems and continuously improve performance. Since its inception, MedAxiom has been helping practices cut overhead expenses, increase revenue and enhance cardiovascular-patient access, despite the challenges practices currently face—and will continue to face—in the future.
