Webcasts
A webcast is a web-based seminar in which a live presenter speaks to the audience, usually over a telephone line, while audience members watch their own computer screens to view slides controlled by the presenter. The audience can use their own phones or a speakerphone to interject questions or comments and can reply to polling and question and answer sessions to enhance the educational experience. Webcasts can be attended LIVE or viewed as a RECORDED program.
MedAxiom webcasts are a great way to continue your education without having to leave your office. Webcasts deliver great content while saving you travel time and expense. They are an excellent way to learn in between member meetings. MedAxiom staff facilitates and sometimes present but the focus remains on peer-to-peer learning experiences. Members or subject matter experts with cardiology-specific expertise in the topic being addressed deliver our online programs.
Many of the webcasts hosted by MedAxiom are included as part of your membership benefits. Some LIVE WEBCASTS are offered to non-members for a fee. Continued Education Credits (CEU’s) are available for all BOCN webcasts and some of the general topics. Many of the webcasts are recorded and available on-demand through the MedXpert Knowledgebase for members.
MedAxiom now offers RECORDED WEBCASTS for purchase. Certain programs qualify for continuing education credits.
