Interactive Database Tool

MEDAXCESS 2.0

MedAxcess is an interactive database application modeled as a data warehouse cube. This allows MedAxiom members to query the company’s extensive data resources on demand through a web-delivered platform. This functionality provides a powerful tool for practices seeking to review, benchmark and interpret their practice data. Practices can compare themselves against others using over 600 metrics from key areas such as:

  • Physician productivity comparisons
  • Procedure ratios, such as Cath-to-Nuclear ratio or Nuclear-to-Office Encounters ratio
  • Procedure volumes
  • Revenue, expense, profit and number of studies
  • General ledger
  • Staffing comparison
  • Accounts receivable, and Payor mix

Graph types include the legacy MedAxcess 1.0 practice graphs such as:

  • Benchmarking Reports
  • Trending Reports
  • Comparison Reports
  • Quartile Reports
  • Tabular Reports
  • Multi-year Reports

With MedAxcess 2.0 you are also able to drill down within each report to further investigate measure by:

  • Practice, office and outreach locations
  • Your physicians compared to all physicians
  • Physicians within your practice
  • Practice defined denominators
  • Per cardiologist
  • Per cardiovascular physician
  • Per MRI machine, CT camera, etc.

You can customize your reports through different filter types including:

  • Geographic area
  • Number of physicians (practice size)
  • Physician compensation methodology
  • Ownership model
  • EHR and PMS Vendors
  • And many more
